In general,
for the most popular software applications we have two / three
primary levels of training courses available. The relevancy of a level to a user
will depend upon their existing ability with the application.
Foundation
For new, or
inexperienced users, who want to gain a basic understanding of
the standard features in a short space of time.
Intermediate
For users who
understand the basics and now wish to learn further techniques.
These trainings courses, where offered, tend to act as an extension of the
Foundation course and for the average user the obtainment of
intermediate level ensures they have a sufficient / competent
mastering of the application for their normal day to day
activities.
Advanced
For competent
users who now wish to learn advanced features. These training
courses are
primarily targeted at those individuals whose job function means
they are required to be high powered user of the application. It is assumed
that Advanced course delegates have a solid working knowledge of
the techniques covered in the Foundation and Intermediate
courses.
